Terms
These are the rules for using CertWatch, a service of REKKY Consulting LLC. Creating an account means you accept them.
The service
CertWatch stores the license, certificate, registration, permit, bond, and safety records you enter, and sends email based on the expiry dates in that register. It is a record and a reminder. It is not a filing service, a law firm, an insurer, or a state licensing board.
Your work
You are responsible for the dates, numbers, and files you enter. You renew each credential with the issuing body. You update the stored date when a new one is issued. A reminder is a notice about the date in CertWatch. It is not a statement that the issuer still recognizes the license, and it is not a renewal.
Reminder email can be delayed or dropped by a mail provider, a full mailbox, or a spam filter. CertWatch records a send when the mail function accepts the message. You still need to look at the register.
Accounts and users
The person who creates the company is the owner. The owner invites other users, up to 10 including pending invitations. The owner chooses the reminder days and can delete the company. Members can add and edit items while the company is allowed to write.
Trial and payment
New companies receive 14 days of use without a card. After that, adding and editing items requires a subscription of $19 per month or $190 per year, billed by Stripe. Prices are per company. Viewing and export remain available if the subscription is not active. Canceling renewal is done in the Stripe billing portal. Deleting the company cancels the Stripe subscription first, then removes the company data.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to store data you are not allowed to keep, to break into another account, or to send mail to people who are not users of your company. Do not upload files other than the PDF, JPG, and PNG documents the form accepts.
Availability
The service runs on the host where it is installed. REKKY Consulting LLC may suspend an account that abuses the service. The register is only as current as the last edit you saved.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, REKKY Consulting LLC is not liable for a missed renewal, a lapsed license, a rejected bid, or other loss that follows from a date in the register, a reminder that was not received, or a subscription status. The fee for the service is the amount you pay Stripe for the subscription.
